About
Dr. Tricia Graziano
Founder and Owner
Hello, my name is Tricia and I wanted to welcome you to Aluna. I am so grateful to share with you my lifelong dream of opening a holistic healing center. My passion has alway been in health and the healing arts. At a young age, I was fortunate to discover my calling in life. I was determined to have a career that felt fulfilling and purposeful. I realized I felt a sense of fulfillment when given the opportunity to help other people feel better physically, mentally and emotionally.
With this knowledge, I went on to achieve a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and Nutrition, from James Madison University. In order to further my passion for natural medicine, I completed a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine. I have been practicing as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine since 2006.
For several years, I worked as a sole practitioner and rented out a small room on the north end of Anna Maria Island. I spent many years daydreaming about the holistic wellness center and spa I would hopefully one day open. I wanted to create a place where people felt instantly peaceful from the moment they walked through the door. A space where people could heal not only through acupuncture but by utilizing a combination of healing therapies.
In 2012, I finally decided to take a leap of faith, follow my lifelong dream and open a healing center. Thanks to the support of my friends, family and even some of my patients, we were able to create a true healing space.
In 2017, I gained another valuable Aluna team member and co-owner when I married my best friend, Matthew Lyndon. Matt is the creator and architect of our gorgeous himalayan salt wall. You will often see him buzzing around the spa tending to zen garden. I love my patients and the amazing staff that works with me at Aluna. I couldn’t be more grateful for this opportunity to serve my community. I hope that when you walk into Aluna you instantly feel better and that you leave uplifted and elevated.

The name for our wellness center comes from a Kogi word. The Kogi Indians strive to preserve their culture today by living isolated from the rest of the world in the mountainous jungles of Colombia.
They see themselves as the guardians of life on Earth and believe that it is their mission to care for our planet. Picture The concept of “Aluna” is central to their spiritual philosophy.
The word means “pure potential” and “creation”. We chose the name Aluna, to represent our belief in the same philosophy that we have the ability to create anything we desire in this life.
